French country lantern ceiling light blue floral finial opaque glass shade 4521

French country lantern-style ceiling light.the light is made up of a metal framework with three scrolled arms with leaf detail. The arms fix to a central round shade holder and the shade is in white opaque glass which sits neatly into the ornate black iron framework. To the bottom of the light is a shaped ceramic finial with pretty blue floral decoration.the light hangs from three chains joined at the top on a metal bar with a cup shaped ceiling fitting.the light has french 2 core wiring and takes 1 large bayonet bulb b22. The iron work is in good solid condition with age related marks, patina and some rust, it has been crudely painted at some point in its long life in black. The glass shade does have a small chip at the top which is hard to photograph. All of the items we sell are second hand/vintage/antique and used, so please check the photos before purchasing as these form part of the description.
