Pair of modernist anthropomorphic fireplace andirons, brutalist log holders 1950s

Pair of anthropomorphic cast iron fireplace andirons (hollow inside), modernist style and dating from the 1950s. The front is worked in the shape of a head, you can perfectly see the oval of the face, the nose, the eyes. The contours have been chiseled like a long mane. The bars have a nice curved shape which adds a little more allure! These are real pieces of folk art! Very rare, I have never found anything similar! They were deliberately left in their juice, with all their wear which testifies to their age! They must have witnessed long evenings by the fire, so it's your turn to make them experience lovely memories! Dimensions: 45 cm deep / 13 cm high / 10 cm long for the face. Total weight excluding packaging: 12 kg for the pair. It is a vintage object, it contains traces of time and imperfections which make it a unique object with a story!
