Søholm Scandinavian ceramic lamp

Glazed stoneware table lamp by einar johansen in denmark in the 1970s for søholm. Presented with a danish socket and lampshade, the latter having a removable disk at the top allowing the light to be dimmed or not. The søholm factory was based on the island of bornholm off the coast of denmark where many ceramicists lived. It was founded in 1835 and produced pieces until 1996. Many ceramicists worked for this factory. Total height: 60cm ceramic shaft alone h: 30cm diam: 16cm.
