Description
It is an icon of children's design from the 1950s, a piece of furniture designed to last and be passed down from generation to generation: I named the small bentwood commode chair made by the famous Baumann factory. From its German origins, the chair displays foolproof solidity. She will resist little ones as well as big ones without batting an eyelid, and will not fear being mishandled by the most restless kids. Relatively heavy and very stable, your children can even climb on it without risking tipping over. A guarantee of peace of mind for worried parents! We particularly love its timeless style which allows it to find its place in every room of the house, but it's its incredible patina that literally makes us fall in love. Polished over the years, the wood is soft to the touch. The little red bars bring a touch of pep and originality to this great classic of children's furniture. The chair is offered to you in its own state. It shows numerous signs of use such as scratches and marks in the wood, as well as gaps in the upper layer of the red paint on the bars. All elements are 100% original. The plastic pot is no longer present, but the upper part of the seat can be unscrewed and a new pot slipped underneath if desired. Seat height: 21 cm.
