Vegetable tureen in Puisaye sandstone signed Jean-Pierre Prud'homme
Description
This pretty little tureen is part of a large utility service that I am going to offer here in several batches. If you would like to order the whole lot, do not hesitate to contact me, a pie mold (ref wfbxvcts), a gratin dish (ref teqdb8ud), an ice bucket (ref be95sadd) are already on sale, a coffee service (ref gr25x19y), a pie dish (ref wshd8da8). This tureen is made of pyrite stoneware, with a very pretty enamel mixing soft and comforting tones: beige, caramel and chocolate, material and colors typical of the 70s. It is signed hollow on the back jp for jean-pierre prud'homme who founded with his wife, an artisanal pottery workshop in 1971 in monnaie, working with nièvre clay (puisaye sandstone). This workshop still exists today (au grès du vent workshop), it is run by his son benoit prud'homme who took over in the 1990s-2000s and also creates very beautiful ceramics. This tureen dates from the 70s and is in perfect condition: no cracks, no chips, no scratches, probably little or no use. It measures 18 cm in diameter, 23 cm in width including handles for a height of 12 cm including lid.
