Antique pine desk, early 20th

This is a smashing little antique desk which is made from solid pine. Dating to the early 20th century the desk is fairly compact and is ideal for a small office or study. It is a lovely piece which has a nicely aged country look and will suit a cottage or farmhouse. The desk has a single cupboard to the left which is set under two spacious drawers. To the right is an open knee hole space set under a scalloped apron. The cupboard has a single shallow shelf and the drawers are finished with turned wooden knobs which are later additions. The desk has a lovely waxed finish which has a good sheen from years of polishing. Condition. The desk is in good solid structural condition with many small marks of age and use. There are various small water marks to the wood here and there but nothing too major to spoil its look. You can see where the original handles once sat, there are small filled holes either side of the turned knobs. Measurements. Height-77cms. Width- 88cms. Depth- 45cms. Kneehole space measures 52cms high X 35cms wide. The measurements are taken at the widest points.
