At auction, an impressive german-made wall clock, intended for military use, of the prestigious junghans brand. Inside the machines you can see the logo of the manufacturer, and between the logo are the letters k u (see attached photos), which correspond to the german abbreviation königlich ungarische (armed forces of the austro-hungarian empire). It should be noted that under the logo we can see the year of manufacture, which corresponds to 1917 (see attached photos). That is, the watch was intended for use in military installations during the first world war. On the dial of the watch, there are two holes to insert the key to reassemble it. The operation of the watch is mechanical, manually wound and the watch works with the typical pendulum movement system. The rope lasts about 10 days. The clock works, and rings every half hour and at its time, with a system formed by a hammer, which hits a metal spiral inside (see attached photos). The watch is kept with normal signs of use and passage of time. It is a watch that is 98 years old! Retains its original crystals. It is worth noting that on the side walls of the clock there are sheets of glass (see attached photos), with which, to some extent, you can see the inside of the clock machinery in operation. The wood has recently received a layer of varnish, in order to better preserve the watch. The approximate measurements of the watch case are: 80 cm high X 39 cm long X 18 cm thick. Rare piece interesting to get, which works, with its respective key to go up, and with its balance.
