Vintage cast iron fireplace basket-grid / log holder with 13 bars. This accessory is placed inside the chimney and is used to accommodate the logs which, placed slightly high in the hearth, benefit from optimal combustion. This solid support also prevents the partially consumed logs from collapsing, thanks to the curved bars forming a good bed of embers. This model will be more suitable for small, shallow chimneys.
