Round japanese tray in woven bamboo and lacquered in orange red, rantai shikki type. -vintage. It dates from the 1960s and was made in japan. This tray is used for serving food and tea. Rantai-shikki (lacquered bamboo) is a famous folk art originating from kurume in fukuoka prefecture. Diameter: 36 cm height: 3.5 cm weight: 350 g this color is rare since the rantai shikki is generally only made with black and red lacquer. The board is in very good condition. The different colors that appear are due to the work of the craftsman for an aesthetic effect. Check the photos please.
