vase - Verrerie de Laignelet
Description
Early twentieth century, in good condition, unsigned but typical of the glassworks of laignelet, this crystalline glass vase decorated with pyramids, palm trees, a harnessed camel mounted by a bedouin. Quality décor of orange gradient color evoking a sunset. No cracks or shines. All the many photos complete this detailed description. Very neat expedition and followed in relay point when possible. For information, this glassworks located in brittany (france), more precisely in the department of i'lle-et-vilaine in laignelet near fougères, was founded around 1646 under the name of la hellonière or bellovière (?) before being named laignelet. It was directed from 1899 by henri chupin. It ceased all activity on march 3, 1934. Laignelet is twinned with kedichem (netherlands).
