Antique print - Cats on the attack

Engraving xviiith, entitled the welcome but poorly received against pasted on canvas stretched on a wooden frame, gilded frame, engraving made by pierre françois basan (1723-1797) after a work by nicassius bernaerts (1620-1678), a copy is kept at the metropolitan museum of art|art institute of chicago. The frame measures 45.5 X 38.5, at sight the engraving measures 38 X 31, under glass.
