A fiery red and yellow glass bowl in the mid-century modern style, produced in the 1970s in poland by huta szkła sudety in szczytna śląska, designed by ewa gerczuk-moskaluk. The item is handmade of soda glass, in red with a yellow tint and a slight opalescent shine. It is preserved in very good condition, without damage. Dimensions: Height 9 cm|width 22 cm|depth 17 cm. Historical outline: Ewa gerczuk-moskaluk. (1947–2021) She studied at the state higher school of fine arts (pwssp) in wrocław, she completed her diploma in the studio of prof. Ludwik kiczura (1973). In the years 1973–1981 she was employed at the sudety household glassworks in szczytna and at the barbara artistic glassworks in polanica-zdrój. In 1981 she gave up her profession as a designer and took up work as a teacher at the state secondary school of fine arts in jelenia góra (1981–2005), in the years 1994–1998 she was the school's deputy director.
