Description
A pair of bauhaus cantilever armchairs with chromed tubular frame designed and produced by mücke-melder in bohemia in the 1930-40s. The curved, cantilever frame allows for slight rocking morion making these chairs exceptionally comfortable. These armchairs are a perfect example of tubular, bauhaus furniture design. The set is completed by a modern footstool/pouffe. The armchairs have been professionally restored. The wooden armrests have been hand polished and lacquered. The set is upholstered with a high-end, water-repellent fabric by designer's guild with an atmospheric pattern of green foliage. There is age-appropriate wear (especially on the bottom part) to the chromed frame.
