Old green extendable kitchen table

We offer a table that we already loved in the 1950s, and which then furnished the kitchens of our elders. It was the perfect place to live for the family. This is what we find here. This magnificent table indeed has all the sought-after characteristics: Equipped with 4 solid wood legs; Equipped with 2 extensions that slide discreetly under the main tray to stretch them or not; thus, the total length goes from 122 to 164, or even a total of 206 cm. A drawer is present on one of the extensions, compartmentalized as was done at the time to store cutlery, close to the meal. Each leg is protected by a zinc sheath which aims to protect the wood from humidity. The result is actually obtained since the wood is intact. The top, like the extensions, presents this famous linoleum specific to this period, whose green colors, protects the surfaces but also offers a design as sophisticated as it is unrivaled. (you can even read the news printed on part of the surface by a newspaper left on the table for too long...). The whole thing exudes the 50s.
