This superb setting preserves a valuable collection of antique fans. Sheltered from dust, they can be admired deployed or closed. Fans in paper, mother-of-pearl, tortoiseshell or ivory, the production of these delicate objects was superb... Here is a beautiful showcase to highlight them. The frame is made of gilded wood. The glass is made of glass. The bottom is made of compressed wood sheathed in fabrics. This showcase measures 63 X 38 cm. I report gaps and scratches of use.
