Vintage chinese hand-knotted red/cream persian style silk runner rug

A good-sized vintage runner rug with a floral design in the persian manner, and an incredibly soft, dense hand-knotted silk pile with a fine lustre. The predominant colours are red and cream, with accents of blues, browns and pinks. The rug was handmade in china in the 1980s.
