Large bronze coffee table by Michel Mangematin circa 1962

Beautiful bronze coffee table designed and produced by michel mangematin in 1962. This table features a bronze star-shaped leg composed of two x-shaped legs. The bronze leg has polished edges with a patinated bronze finish. It is topped with a large, thick oval-shaped glass top. This coffee table is minimalistic and elegant, timeless, and typical of the clean french mid-century style. It has been fully restored and re-polished, with a new thick oval glass top, and is in perfect condition. Michel mangematin was a french designer and architect who designed and produced a very limited range of furniture. He studied under frank lloyd wright and ludwig mies van der rohe in their workshops.
