Oil on wood by contemporary artist césar biojo. César biojo is a colombian artist born in 1981. He completed his doctorate at the university of barcelona before joining the school of fine arts at flordia university in 2005. His painting is positioned at the threshold of the encounter between creation and destruction. He creates portraits, mostly nude, and makes them reach perfection. Once this ideal is achieved, he sets about destroying it with spatulas and cracks. He goes from figurative to abstract in his creative process, giving rise to a perfect imperfection. Through this succession of stages, he demonstrates the fleetingness of the perfection that he himself created, the fragility of man who evolves in an interlacing of ephemeral moments. His work is particularly represented in spain and the united states, but is also present abroad. Dimensions 110*120 the shade of red is sublime and will delight contemporary art collectors who love #rothko.
