The canal restaurant- 1933- Lucien Frennet

Frennet lucien 🇧🇪 Born in 1888 in fleurus - died in 1940 in ixelles. Landscape painter, student of e. Fabry at the academy of brussels (1909), he began with watercolors and prints. Around 1920, he traveled to the south of france, switzerland and holland, and practiced pointillism. The painting is signed and dated 1933. The original canvas and frame have been restored. The shortcomings have been taken up and the colours revived. We still see a small trace on the canvas of the old hole.
