Mid-century bronze or brass vase with herbarium decoration

Nice vase from the 50s/60s it is difficult to say whether this vase is made of bronze or brass. It is very well made, quite thick and heavy. Its inlaid herbarium decoration is simple but so effective and gives this vase with organic shapes another dimension. Despite the years this vase has retained its place in our contemporary decoration. Ideal for holding small bouquets, it will quickly find its marks on a sideboard, side table or centerpiece. When I found it, it was almost black from oxidation. After a good cleaning and elbow grease, it regained this beautiful shine. Over time it will regain a duller color but with regular maintenance (about once a year), it will keep this beautiful gold color. See photos dimensions: height 12cm width 11cm depth 4cm.
