Cocoon wall lamp, 1950s

Beautiful so called ‘cocoon’ lamp which hangs from a wooden base which can be fixed against the wall. The lamp now also has an electrical cord which needs to be plugged into a socket for it to switch on. However, if there is an electrical point in the wall where it can be hung, the cord can be removed. The shade which is called the cocoon based on the material which is used, has aged beautifully and has obtained a warm, more yellowish color. The lamp gives a great warm light. Size: shade: h 35 cm, widest point 24 cm. Height wooden wall fixture: 25 cm, wide 15, 5 cm. Total depth when hanging from the wall: approx. 42 cm.
