This h-70 armchair was designed by jindrich halabala and produced by spojene up zavody c. 1930-40s. The backrest and seat can be put in three different positions which was revolutionary for the time. The curved armrest which also create the feet for the lounge chair make this into the perfect example of fully streamlined art deco furniture. It is an iconic, rare and highly sought after piece of the czech art deco design period. Extremely comfortable and chic! The chair underwent complete restoration using high end materials. Its rich walnut frame has been hand polished and lacquered highlighting the beautiful wood grain. It has been reupholstered with striped, pale duck egg blue and taupe coloured satin fabric.
