Antique Barbotine Majolica Pot with Lid Organic Art Nouveau

Beautiful antique pot with lid, barbotine or majolica earthenware, the pot has the shape of a tree trunk and the handle of a branch, typical of the organic shapes and colors typical of the art nouveau era (1890-1910). Presumably french, marked 225 a at the bottom. Fantastic and rare object from the turn of the century, fragile and elegant, much pottery from that period has not survived the test of time. This object is in good antique condition in accordance with its age, not completely perfect but that is almost impossible for such a fragile object of that age, two hairline cracks on the inside of the edge, a chip from the bottom of the lid as well as some hairline cracks, but the whole is still nice and sturdy, check the photos for more details!
