Empire Silver Carving Knife and Fork Set Brush&Cie

This superb serving cutlery is made of filled silver and the blades are made of steel. This cutlery is composed of a large fork and a carving knife. It was intended for serving meat dishes, such as legs of lamb and roasts. The handles are decorated with an elegant decoration of pearls and empire-style garlands. This cutlery is hallmarked with the minerva on the handles. The goldsmith's hallmark is "bc" for brosse & cie, 7 rue froissart, paris, active around 1910. The blade is marked paris. In good condition, they measure 26 cm and 30 cm in length. I note traces of oxidation and scratches from use.
