Signed, dated and titled on the back, "la famille", 1987 michel chapuis (1925-2004) painter, producer for television and radio (more than fifteen years at france-culture where during 600 broadcasts he gave the floor to artists), friend of linstrom and pignon, painted from the 40s until the end of his life. First figurative then abstract (he destroyed the great majority of his abstract work) he also painted many neo-expressionist landscapes. This friend of picasso, bram van velde, this worshiper of paul klee, this fellow traveler of the "cobra" movement (lindstrom, jorn) develops after a passage through abstract painting, a work of "rage and generosity", immediately accessible because it comes out of the dream.
