Vintage design Cobra articulated desk lamp by Fagerhults, Sweden 1974

This flexible table lamp - cobra - was designed by fagerhults design studio in 1974 and produced by fagerhults sweden. The cobra lamp won the if design award in 1975. The design is playful, simple and elegant and is reminiscent of the work of joe colombo. The round cast iron base gives the lamp a solid base. The flexible part of the lamp neck gives the possibility to adjust the lampshade in any desired direction. The white on/off switch is located on the side of the lampshade. At the bottom, the lamp has the original fagerhults sweden brand sticker and numbered. Brand designation also present with white on/off switch. Black color, set in very good condition. Some useful dimensions: base diameter 17cm / reflector diameter 15cm / max height with raised arm 82cm / curved arm 61cm.
