Lithograph of the wine landscape of st julien, signed in pencil by the artist renée halpern (1914-2008) and numbered 35 out of 100 copies. Renée halpern is a painter of polish origin who came to paris to study decorative arts, she met the great artists of the 20th century: soutine, marie laurencin, dufy, masson, marquet. This work represents the village of st julien, commune of beaujolais, in the rhone department, known for its vineyards and for the claude bernard museum, in which renée halpern had an exhibition for its inauguration. This work was used for the exhibition poster in 1973. In good condition, this lithograph is original and joyful for lovers of small french villages, on the wine route, heading south!
