Small vintage fat lava vase, brown and white glazed west germany earthenware, by scheurich, with the makers sticker, 1960s-70s, numbered at the bottom 213-20. West germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came onto the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some well-known names are roth, carstens, ruscha, jopeko, jasba, fohr, but the greatest were perhaps scheurich and bay.
