Superb set of 4 japanese chairs. Carved wood and mother-of-pearl marquetry. Pediments of the backrtles decorated with vegetable friezes in mother-of-pearl marquetry. Feet in the shape of paws clawed with animals, characteristic of the style. Elegant quality fabric. Japonisme, france, circa 1880. By gabriel viardot. In very good condition, completely restored a few years ago, upholstery and fabrics in very good condition. Treated against xylophagi and re-hydrated. Height 96 cm. Width 48 cm. Depth 55 cm.
