Patinated bronze holy water font

Holy water font in patinated, chiseled and gilded bronze. Embossed decorations representing in medallion the dead christ surrounded by cherubs, the virgin in devotion overlooked by the holy spirit represented by the dove. Surround richly decorated with foliage. Tank with its basin, also decorated with vine tiered in a flat volute field ending with a flame. Fixed on a wooden board covered with felt. The whole is in excellent condition, very beautiful patina, watertight tank, worn felt. French work, 19th century.
