Description
Large and elegant open shelf design from the 70s by Pierre Vandel. This "Hollywood Regency" model is composed of a black lacquered aluminum structure and three thick, slightly smoked glass tops. A gilded brass edging highlights the pleasant shape of the structure. The trays are removable. This angular shelf evokes the glamorous yet minimalist aesthetic that dominated furniture design in the 1970s. It was created at the time of Pierre Vandel's collaboration with Pierre Cardin. This expensive furniture is therefore perfect for design lovers in French high society. It is then exported to New York, London, Melbourne and Tokyo. The well-defined lines of this shelf would be perfect for displaying studio pottery or art glass, etc. It is in very good state of conservation. We have a matching coffee table, over here. Dimensions: long 90 cm, high 96.5 cm, depth 37 cm, 1st shelf 50 cm
