Description
Superb ceramic vase "à l'antique" in the shape of an amphora, with a beautiful iridescent enamelled finish of blue-green / turquoise color. This vase has a bronze frame of good quality, finely chiseled, in the art nouveau taste. All recently mounted in lamp: new electricity. Art nouveau, france, circa 1900. Attributed to paul milet (1870-1950), son of the ceramist félix optat milet and himself a ceramist, trained at the laboratory of the manufacture de sèvres. He then worked in the factory founded by his father, from which he gradually took over. Paul milet exhibited in paris and sèvres. His productions were also distributed through the department stores la samaritaine and les galeries lafayette. Then history repeats itself and it is paul's son, henri, who will also become a ceramist and work with his father. In very good condition. Size: Height 67 cm. Diameter 28 cm.
