Industrial Iron Library Wall Shelving Cabinet

Unique iron library cabinet with slate shelves. The uprights are made of iron with cast iron handles and cast iron footrests. The 15 slate shelves are adjustable in height so that this shelving unit can be arranged as desired. The slate shelves have been cleaned and treated with linseed oil for a beautiful dark deep colour. The iron frame has been cleaned and provided with a layer of clear lacquer. This is a vintage item, so not an antique piece. The iron frame must be attached to the wall as it weighs around 180 kg without shelves. The 15 shelves weigh an average of around 14 kg each and a total of around 220 kg.
