Silver metal tea and coffee set with dragon pattern by wiskemann

Period: ca. 1950. This impressive and high-quality set offers a very chic way to serve coffee and tea to your guests. The set is composed of: a large sturdy tray, a coffee maker, a teapot, a milk jug and a sugar pot. The main motif is that of a dragon's head that adorns the handles and beaks. Very finely executed friezes embellish the edges. The degree of detail and finish is impressive. Each piece has its own felt protective bag. This set is particularly suitable for a hotel or embassy residences. The tray is hallmarked with "wiskemann", a company renowned for its high-quality items. This goldsmith company from brussels, belgium, was active between 1870 and 1970 and specialized in the production of silver tableware for the hotel and restaurant sector. It was world famous with its heyday between the two world wars. Other wiskemann parts (serving trays, bottle holders, etc.) are available. Please inquire. Status: very good. Hardly traces of use.
