Jug Vallauris water pitcher, 16 cm (H)

He's chewing that pitcher from vallauris. This provençal village marked by the 250 workshops (60s) of potters/ceramists today is developing again. An extravagant and colorful production, a pool of great potters gathered especially around the personality of picasso who stayed there. Among the countless factories that collectively signed 'vallauris', without identifying themselves, is the cover of our carafe, called 'sea foam' and reminiscent of the 'fat lava' of german industrial ceramics of the 1960s and 70s.
