Copper pendulum - Louis XIV style

Description. Magnificent copper clock in the manner of louis 14 style bronzes. The dial has white enamel reserves in which the hours are indicated in roman numerals. Under the dial is a grotesque head. Copper is richly carved with shells, volutes and counter-scrolls. The clock rests on 5 feet in the shape of leaves. The two side feet are shaped like lion's feet.
