Description
Series of 4 model GS90 chairs, in solid teak and Danish rope. This model is a reference in the production of ARNE WAHL IVERSEN (1927-2016). Renowned Danish designer internationally, he participated in the global recognition of Scandinavian design. Danish rope is a traditional rope invented by the Swedes during a shortage of sisal during the war. Made of twisted, slightly waxed paper, Scandinavian designers have used it since the 1950s for its flexible and durable qualities, in the same way as leather or fabric. Very beautiful conservation for these 4 Scandinavian chairs which, without a doubt, will be part of our decorative landscape for a very long time...
