The original straw seat was upholstered with a first fabric with floral macaroons trimmed with horsehair for greater comfort. The fabric has slight normal traces of use (see photos), a second removable fabric was also made with floral macaroons + fringes. For your information, the bench was used as a piano stool by the previous owner. It is solid and perfectly stable thanks to the spacers between the legs.
