Miniature opaline salt shaker by portieux vallerystahl 1900-1920 toy 6.5cm

This lovely little salt shaker is in white opaline. It is a child's toy, referenced in the catalog of glass and opaline factories of portieux vallerysthal (joint catalogs). This double twisted ribbed salt shaker is a beautiful milky white color. Dating from the very beginning of the 20th century, these pressed-molded glass opalines were sold at fairs or popular markets. In good general condition, I note traces of the baking mold and chips on the edges. Dimensions: h 5 cm X 6.5 cm. A lovely opaline to collect or give as a gift.
