"Yoghurt" framework of the 1950s

The frame is in very good condition. It consists of two frames interlocking in each other, made of two different mouldings. The first outside is a hollow doucine, and the second, a simple flat marie-louise profile with a small throat at the edge. The so-called "yoghurt" paint of a chalky white typical of the 50s is very textured. It's well worn, and the patina is superb. The inner dimensions of the leaf are 24, 5 cm by 33, 5 cm. The total width of the moulding is 10, 5 cm. The frame can be used empty, to create beautiful still lifes. It can also receive a canvas, or why not a mirror...
