Danish sideboard by Arne Vodder for Sibast Danmark / Hifi music cabinet with Rio rosewood revolving doors

€5,500

Magnificent Danish sideboard / hi-fi cabinet by designer Arne Vodder for the publisher Sibast. Minimalist, unique and surprising Danish-made design from the mid-60s with compass feet and tambour doors with very fine details, typical of Arne Vodder's pieces. The very elaborate design of the revolving doors makes the opening mechanism invisible to the naked eye, which makes this piece particularly surprising, one would almost wonder where the doors pass in the open position. Location for 2 vinyl turntables or amplifier at the top (possibility of installing a short throw video projector), 2 to 3 amplifiers/pre-amplifiers at the bottom and 10 locations for storing vinyl records (enough to store around fifty double vinyls or a hundred single vinyls). 2 hatches on the top to accommodate 2 vinyl turntables and/or other elements (short throw video projector, other hi-fi elements, etc.). In teak and rosewood (Rio Rosewood). Rio Rosewood is a species that has now been highly regulated since 1992. Dimensions: - Length: 137cm - Height: 81cm - Depth: 50cm The sideboard is really in magnificent condition, especially for its age (60 years), with a few very few micro scratches. visible.
