"superb terracotta vase by sicilian artist stefania boemi dating from the 2010s. The sculptor was inspired by ancient sicilian legends of love and revenge between a moor and a young girl. Unique piece and entirely handmade in the pure sicilian tradition. This very large model represents a moorish woman's head with a crown. Beautiful matte gray monochrome shade with natural pigments. A second vase also available to create a pair. Very fragile piece so hand delivered recommended. Nice condition." height 44 cm, diameter 24 cm approx.
