Bowl production staff of Robert Picault signed any letter Out of school of Applied Arts in Paris as Roger Capron and Jean Derval, Robert Picault moved to Vallauris and founded with Capron workshop "CALLIS. In 1948 he moved alone near the Picasso workshop which he will suffer some influence. Its decorations consist mainly of geometric shapes, rings, bands, concentric circles and labyrinthiformes made for the Green copper oxide and oxide of iron for the Browns. A very decorative work that confirms his motto 'the kitchen to the table. " Indeed his work revolves around the reinterpretation of kitchen utensils to make it something more than a shape and a utensil. Robert Picault says his own sensibility in these more personal works representing portraits, sensual bathers, vanities. He also developed a rich bestiary of birds, fish and almost fantastical animals. Robert Picault died in 2000, his work still gives us the heat of the Earth of Vallauris
