Constant Nieuwenhuijs for 't Spectrum / Asmeta, wall shelf ZT, NL 1954

Set of two red wall shelves model zt designed by constant nieuwenhuijs and produced by asmeta. The shelves were later commissioned by martin visser for t' spectrum. A large one of 80 cm and a smaller one of 40.5 cm. The shelves have been repainted in red. The shelves were used in the exhibition "ons huis - ons thuis" in the dutch warehouse "de bijenkorf". Gerrit rietveld and constant nieuwenhuijs created a design for an apartment were a family with 2 children could live.
