Description
The famous fire chair by kai kristiansen designed for schou andersen in the 1960s is a classic example of mastery of danish mid-century modernist craftsmanship upholstered with new black aniline leather. The ergonomic sculpture, solid teak frame, and black seat will suit any vanity table or desk or can be a decorative addition to any interior. The chair has been renovated. Teak wood construction was cleaned and covered with protecting oil to enhance the grain. The leather and padding are new. It is soft, thin black aniline leather. We often leave minor, natural signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We bring it back to its best look, considering it is 70 years old. Clients from all around the world have already trusted our work and its fruits. If you are new to vintage furniture, you can contact us for any possible explanations and close-ups of the piece. Additional dimensions: Seat depth 44 cm. 44 cm clearance under seat. 28 cm to wooden backrest.
