The goddess iris, sublime sculpture of phidias for the Parthenon around 440 before Christ, found in Venice very long after, admired endlessly, and loved by all finally bought in the 19th century by the Marquis de Laborde who gave it a name - now treasure of the Louvre - is here in plaster, life-size, with its iron workshop harness. Large dimensions XXXL. Plaster height 54cm, width 31cm, depth 38cm. Height of the harness 59cm, surface 25cm X 25cm, floor area 33cm X 33cm. Iris called head of laborde of phidias 447bc to 432bc. Unforgettable.
