Very old gilded bronze candlestick, 17th or 18th century. Candlestick with barrel turned baluster with sides, resting on a molded octagonal base. Ringed binet with pierced sides, 8 sides on the binet: 4 large and 4 small. The base with double moldings, the umbilicus is formed on a united groove and supports the barrel. The lower collar supports a baluster stem with 8 bare sides, thinned towards the bottom. The upper collar carries a binet also with 8 sides. A beautiful historical decorative object, in baroque style, which still has many good years ahead of it! Dimensions: height: 17 cm base length: 10.5 cm weight 378 g. Note: a tin solder between the base and the lower collar, two traces of printing on the barrel at the bottom. There are signs of wear given its great age, as well as its use, the base is slightly deformed, but the candlestick remains straight and stable. All clearly visible in the photos. The objects we sell are old, they have been used, the years have passed...some therefore sometimes show traces of time spent. Please look carefully at the photos. Depending on your screen technology and the device used, colors may vary slightly from reality.
