5 cake plates “Fine street light” KG Lunéville

Set of 5 cake plates in fine half-porcelain earthenware, stamped kg (keller & guérin) lunéville france, "réverbère fin" model. Decorated with bouquets of tulips and roses and scattered flowers (four different designs) on a white background. Moved border, enhanced with relief and a carmine red line on the edge. In excellent condition: no accidents, tiny traces of use, clean edges; traces of the pernettes visible on the reverse (normal). A flagship of french earthenware, both fresh and majestic, the "réverbère fin" decor has its origins in lunéville ca 1750, and has inspired other decors (eg, "vieux strasbourg" by villeroy & boch, "marlborough" by spode) and was published until may 2022, the date of the definitive cessation of the activity of the lunéville & saint-clément kg manufactures. The plates offered here date from the 1970s. Diam. 18 cm.
