Legras Vase, Art Nouveau – Late 19th Century

Flute vase with a swollen base from the legras factory, dating from the end of the 19th century. In beautiful green tinted glass with enameled floral decoration, this vase is characterized by its neck decorated with a gold screen print with stylized flowers; and a colorful flower accompanied by hand-painted foliage. François théodore legras (1839-1916) is a french master glassmaker recognized by his peers.
