Double-sided divider buffet, 1960

This magnificent vintage double-sided sideboard is a unique piece that combines both aesthetics and functionality. Made of wood with warm finishes, it has an airy and refined design, typical of the scandinavian or modernist style of the 50s and 60s. Thanks to its open structure on both sides, this piece of furniture can perfectly serve as a space divider, ideal for delimiting a room without completely partitioning it. It offers several storage spaces, including glass shelves on the top to display decorative objects and closed compartments at the bottom to discreetly store various items. Its tapered legs give it a light and elegant look, while the sliding and hinged doors add a touch of practicality. A real piece of furniture with character that will find its place in a mid-century, vintage or contemporary interior. Condition: good but be careful, its stability is achieved once the doors and shelves are all installed. It is therefore advisable to consolidate it with brackets if you want to give it more stability and security. It remains sturdy as is but moves a little. Some damaged windows in one or two corners but nothing shocking and not very visible. One slightly scratched window, see photos.
